This Privacy Policy describes how CoinSensors ("we", "our", or "us") handles information when you use the CoinSensors platform, API, SDK, and Chrome Extension.

What We Collect

CoinSensors Chrome Extension

The CoinSensors Chrome Extension collects and processes the following data:

  • Token contract addresses extracted from supported websites (DexScreener, Pump.fun, Twitter/X) that you visit. These addresses are sent to the CoinSensors API to retrieve security analysis results.
  • Extension settings (such as your preferred API endpoint) stored locally in your browser via chrome.storage.

The extension does not collect:

  • Personal information (name, email, etc.)
  • Browsing history beyond token addresses on supported sites
  • Wallet addresses, private keys, or financial data
  • Cookies or tracking identifiers
  • Any data from websites other than the supported sites listed above

CoinSensors API and Dashboard

When you use the CoinSensors API or web dashboard:

  • Token addresses you submit for scanning are processed and may be stored for caching and platform statistics.
  • API keys are stored securely if you register for API access.
  • No personal accounts or login is required to use the scanner.

How We Use Data

All data collected is used solely to:

  • Analyze token security and generate trust scores
  • Cache analysis results to improve response times
  • Provide aggregated platform statistics (total scans, risk distribution)

We do not use any data for advertising, tracking, profiling, or sale to third parties.

Data Storage and Retention

  • Extension cache: Scan results are cached locally in your browser for 30 minutes and then automatically deleted.
  • API cache: Server-side scan results are cached with a 5-minute TTL.
  • Database: Token analysis results are stored to provide historical data and platform statistics. These records contain only token metadata and scores — no user-identifiable information.

Third-Party Services

The CoinSensors API communicates with the following third-party services to perform token analysis:

  • Helius — Solana blockchain data
  • GoPlus Security — EVM chain security data
  • DexScreener — Market data
  • Anthropic (Claude AI) — AI-generated risk narratives

No personal user data is shared with these services. Only token contract addresses and on-chain data are transmitted.

Data Security

We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) for all data transmission between the extension, our API, and third-party services.

Your Rights

Since we do not collect personal data, there is typically no personal data to access, modify, or delete. You can:

  • Clear extension cache at any time by removing the extension or clearing browser storage
  • Uninstall the extension to stop all data collection by the extension
  • Stop using the API at any time — cached data expires automatically

Children's Privacy

CoinSensors is not intended for use by children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date.
